A perfect dress?

Is there a perfect dress?

Of course, in an ideal scenario, everyone would say YES!

But well well, in the real world, there is no such luck though…

Why is that so? Because the perfect dress is something you made out in your own mind. It is only perfect in your perspective. No one else in the world will have the same mentality as you and so, such a dress will never be created…So, do we all have to settle for something lesser?

No, you don’t have to settle… In my opinion, finding a favourite dress would derive almost the same level of happiness as with a perfect dress. Why? Because, in order for it to become your favourite dress, it definitely has already fulfilled most of your requirements for a perfect dress. Focus on the desirable traits of the dress and it would almost be perfect… As a perfectionist, I’m reluctant to say don’t nitpick and there you have it… but in reality, I do think that sometimes, it is inevitable to compromise. It is good to aim for perfection, but for some things, it simply doesn’t exist…

Do I have a favourite dress? Yes, this is it…A cocktail dress from Armani Exchange…Wore it to a DnD at Swissotel...
I like the red but not too red colour… straps that are at the right place… neckline that shows off the collarbone but not revealing… buttons that are nicely spaced out so there are no gaping holes… the interesting details at the waist…the material… the length…I could go on and on…Yup, so I’m liking this dress now…hmm, just wish that it didn’t come with such a hefty price tag though…hee…but I can deal with this slight imperfection…:P

Will everyone find their favourite dress?
Yes yes, it will be there…definitely…some will find it faster than the others…but don’t worry… it is out there…somewhere…but of course, you have to try on a few… some extremely ill-fitting…causing you much discomfort and disappointment… but without going through all these fitting sessions, how would you appreciate IT ultimately? So, in the meantime, put on your comfy shoes and go out there shopping with all your favourite babes! I believe your trusty gf will never mind more shopping or even to brave the storm just to find IT together with you… you just have to be patient sometimes…everyone will find their favourite dress one day… :)

Ok... back to something more light-hearted... wearing my ankle booties...haven't worn it in a long while... better wear it more often now lest it becomes outdated very soon... :)
