A true friend?

Recently, I managed to catch up with a friend over dinner...was abit disturbed after that...

While busy updating each other with the major happenings in our lives, I find that the subject matter always deviates towards her... even when I managed to squeeze in a highly important piece of good news, she did not congratulate me...Instead, she passed some snide remarks...

It makes me wonder...what is going on between us? Why isn't she happy for me? I would be happy for her...congratulate her...and tell her all the good things that will come along...

Well, an important lesson learnt... I think it takes a true friend, someone who has a big heart to love you for who you are, feel happy for you during good times and be there for you when you are down...

This person...sadly...is not...

Went out for brunch with my gf. Casual outfit for a casual sunday.

Feeling warm and fuzzy today...

Wanted to paint 2 of my walls white and dad finished it within the weekend...

Came home with a runny nose at night and the next day, there was panadol flu tablets and the lemony hot remedy thingy on my table...with a note from dad..."don't know which is good, so i got both"...so touched...I have the best daddy in the world! :)

Feeling happy today... cos I will be leaving for a short trip very soon...:)

Looking forward to all the shopping I can do on the trip...Oh it's Bangkok by the way...

Forgot to bring my camera home, so this is taken with my handphone...really bad resolution...

Wearing a pinkish chiffon skirt...makes me feel more girlish...heh...

Have been busy packing up my room these few days... quite amazed with the amount of rubbish I have accumulated over the years... Things which were once precious looked totally ridiculous to me now... like my hello kitty stuff...heh... Well well, an important lesson...don't "save" things because you can't bear to use it...if you like something, get it and use it now...may not be relevant in the future anyway...:p

Yup, packing up the things to clear space from my shelves...doing some painting too...nothing major though...just find the 4 purple walls abit overwhelming now...so it's gonna be 2 purple and 2 white...

I'm in a floral mood...:)

Been rather caught up with work. Feel exhausted dealing with all the nitty gritty stuff and nonsense from people... Realized that I am allergic to nonsense! Haha...
Can't really focus well either...inefficiency often sets in...I guess it's true that you can't run at top speed constantly... or is it just an excuse? ;p


Went to check out ION Orchard...Pretty impressive with all the usual suspects and major crowd pullers with a few new brands as well...Looking forward to the full opening with all the shops functional...now it's only about 60% ...
It was quite packed for a thursday evening...Had difficulties finding a place for dinner. I would definitely be back at the mall for some retail therapy soon...when all the shops are officially open... ;)
