Weather's been rather gloomy lately...looking forward to May day tho i still have to go back to work on Sat...:(

This post is just an after-thought from a lunch with friends...

A rainy day... sort of chilly...went out for lunch with a few friends...
At the cafe, saw a girl, she was wearing shorts, tee and a sweater...looks nice
Friend commented, "So funny, her body cold, legs not cold meh? So ridiculous...hahaha"

On the way back, saw another girl...She was wearing a long-sleeved short dress...nice outfit
The SAME friend made the SAME remark!
No one said anything on both occasions...

Inside my head, I was screaming away, "Hey you are the ridiculous one here! If you don't have fashion sense, just keep it to yourself, don't have to expose your shortcomings...Fashion has no rules, either you know it, follow it or don't, it's a freedom of choice and expression. If you don't, fine with that...but don't put fashionistas down with your ignorance..."

Those girls are nicely dressed...they don't deserve all these weird stares from ignorant people...
Well well...just something random...

Going to watch a play at the Esplanade today. Wore a simple floral tube dress. Will bring along a jacket too to ward off the cold in the theatre...Quite excited...It's been a long while since i last went to Esplanade for play/musical...Kind of like Esplanade...Pretty place...and exudes an artistic aura...makes me feel more cultured...haha

Had a semi-formal meeting today. After that, I went shopping with a dearie.

What's the damage? Hmm I would say it's quite substantial...considering that I didn't set out to buy anything at all...:P

Oh I finally got to check out Uniqlo over the weekend...

I was there on a sunday at around 5 pm...there was a snaking queue to get in but didn't really wait for long cause they let quite a few people in each time...Singaporeans are really suckers for queues...

Went in for a quick scan and left with nothing because all the items especially the nicer ones only have big sizes left...

So...I think for the time being, no point going back there for awhile as it will be sometime before they restock...

Oh well, I will probably only go back after the hype has die down...No sizes anyway...:(

Hmm...totally no mood to blog...

I'm involved in a credit card fraud case...someone using my credit card to make purchases...
I have to pay for things I have not purchased!!!

Case under investigation now...I want my money back!!! sobz... :(

Hiatus

Been away...to Ho Chi Minh City...

Hmm...what can I say about HCM...Honestly, didn't really like the trip...It was a boring city, not really a place for fashion...it was chaotic and not very pretty...and we had a baaad experience with a cab driver...Cab meter started at SGD$0.80 when we got on, $2+ when nearing the location...while fishing out for cash, the cab driver push a button on the meter and another zero popped out!!! That is, $20+ for the 5-min ride! Of course we tried to argue and refuse to pay...but what can we really do? 3 girls in a weird foreign city...I really don't want to be driven to somewhere isolated and get cut up into pieces...:P Well, we didn't pay $20...The brave one shouted angrily at the cab driver and bargained the fare down to $5...We threw the money at the driver and slammed the door when we stepped out of the cab...totally hate dishonest cheaters...

Mekong delta tour sort of saved the trip abit...with pony rides and a scenic tour on a small sampan...but on the whole, I would label it as a "once-in-a-lifetime" city, that is, I will not visit the place again...heh...;p

Yes yes i'm into stripes lately...bought quite a few striped items...

I bought a new bag!!! It's a slouchy soft leather bag which I had been searching high and low for...finally found the perfect one! This really rounded off a good weekend for me...happy...;p

Ok I'm a boring person...It's monochrome again...but what can I say? It's the easiest to put together! Hee...perfect for a fuss-free weekend!

Have been absolutely caught up with work lately...have no time to blog...

But I will still make time to catch up with friends for dinner and drinks because these meetings keep me sane and functional...

My motto: Work hard, Work smart, Play hard!

So, don't worry my dears, will always have time for you babes! :)

Hmm totally had no idea how to wear this when i saw this dress...but wanted to give it a shot cause don't wanna junk it...
It's a birthday gift from a friend...when she gave it to me...she said "this dress is so you!"
I kept quiet, smiled and nodded...In my head, I was thinking, "erm...which part of me screams coral?!?!?" Nonetheless, I think it's quite a pretty dress...worth a try...

Haha, in an attempt to mask the bright colour, I tried to blend in plenty of blacks, with a big black bag and black pumps...yup...hopefully a nice change from my usual monochrome style...

Was planning holidays with some gfs, realized that without the financial burden of a car, I really can go much further and longer and nicer...awww...oh well, things that I have to sacrifice for convenience and time I guess...think it's a worthwhile sacrifice? YES!!!!

I just got a pair of sporty looking heels...looks pretty compatible with my jacket...

Now now...what i need is a sporty looking bag!!! ;p

After the long day yesterday, feel lethargic all over...just wanna wear comfortable tee to work...luckily enough, no meetings for me today...free to wear anything...phew... Been rather busy these few days, lots of things happening at work...reshuffle...relocating...blah blah...

Taking a breather now...finally...some peaceful time to do some blogging...:)
